Taqwaa is among the highest moral qualities that a Muslim can attain. It is produced by placing a shield between one’s self and Allaah’s wrath. This is achieved by being conscious of Allaah and all His commandments at all times, by avoiding the Haraam (prohibited) as well as the Makrooh (undesirable), and, even, some of the Halaal (permissible) wherever doubt arises.

With each new day comes an opportunity for change, an opportunity from improvement. Your past will continue to haunt you as long as you don't come to terms with it. Learn from your past, and embrace it as something that will make you stronger. Release the burden of pain in strengthening your relationship with Allah, as there is no power or might except with Allah.

If you see a brother/sister who looks like they're in need, don't wait for them to come and ask you for help.

Dear Wifey

Most important thing a Man wants from his Wife is RESPECT. If a Man earns respect. He feels masculine. Men are caretakers and providers of Women. He is the protector. He wants to feel loved, cared and listened to. Respect is not by word rather it is an attitude and shines through the character. How is Respect shown? Respect is knowledge and judgement. When a Man makes a decision. Don't belittle him. Don't treat your husband like a child. Give him ownership. By doubting his decisions, it shows you don't trust him. Respect his judgement. Don't become bossy, rather be his advisor. Don't become your husband's mother. Empower him.
