The love of Sahaba: Abdullah Rawahah
Assalamualaikum,
Today is Jumaah, Lets selawat, recite Kahfi and have sadakah!
Allahumma Sollia'ala Muhammad, wa'ala ali Muhammad
And i am glad to be here again, being given another wonderful day.
a day which i still able to eat, to stand, to talk, to LAUGH, and to breathe.
Alhamdulillah, For everything u Have given to us.
There nothing compared to ur Love, to us, Ya Rabb.

Being given another precious day, I want to share upon the Sahaba :
Just read bout him this morning,
and i feel the LOVE , the FRIENSHIP he had
Abd Rawahah- He is a good friend to Abu Darda', a very BFF.
When Islam cames, Abdullah Rawahah perceived islam first. But not Abu Darda'. He refuse.
Nevertheless, they remain friends. They will visit one another and have a discussion. Abu Rawahah, never tired. He always persuad Abu Darda' to perceive Islam. but, still. he wont.
For about 10 years, Abd Rawahah never tired to asked his friend to perceive islam.
Everytime, the muslim soldier who went for a war- Abu Darda' will be worried for Abd Rawahah. Abu Darda' will look around and ask everyone about the condition of his bestfriend.
One fine day. The muslim soldier is back. Thus, after Abu Darda' ask around about his Bestfriend, after know that Abd Rawahah is safe, he went to his work as a merchandise.
Right after Abd Rawahah arrive in Madinah- from war. Abd Rawahah look for Abu Darda' .
He went to Abu Darda' house. He asked Abu Darda' wife' permission to enter Abu Darda' house.
Then, Abd Rawahah sees the 'idol-images (berhala) in Abu Darda' house.
He knows that Abu Darda always put perfumes and
put a nice cloth from a very good silk material toward the Idol-images
Then, he bashes out the Idol images-Abu Darda; wife becomes really worried and cried.
When Abu Darda' went home. He sees his wife crying. Soon he realizes about the idols and images.
At first he was pretty angry. Nevertheless, a moment after, he calms.
He thought, If the idol couldnt protect themselves. So, is the idol is god.
And, that is the turning point, when he realizes whom to be Worship for
He met Abd Rawahah, and they together visit Rasulullah SAW for syahadah
For me, its very inspiring story- but due to my limited English vocabulary
and the way i wrote the story, it might look 'pale'
but trust me. if u read the book of
'65 orang sahabat'
u'll be very inspiring and motivated by the sahaba
I love the way, Abd Rawahah, always love Abu Darda' and so as Abu Darda
I love the way, Abd Rawahah never get tired to persuade Abu Darda' about the true God
I love the way, Abd Rawahah action to make Abu Darda' realizes whats really is
and foremost.
I love the way ALLAH open up Abu Darda' hearts for Islam
and i shall believes that, Abd Rawahah, always kept dua for Abu Darda'
and Allah grant Abd Rawahah dua'

but Abd Rawahah- have his another great story-
He is one of the great sahabah whom have the Panji for Mu'tah War.
He get martyr after Zaid bin Harithat, Jaafar bin Abi Talib. After all these three gets martyr.
Soon the Panji is given to Khalid and the Muslim wins the war. MashaAllah.
so as, Abu Darda'.
After he perceived islam.
He do not just put the dunya aside.
but He PUSH the dunya with his hand and heart.
